Welcome to Women's Ministries. Thank you for taking the time to check us out.

The ladies ministry at Grand Valley is patterned after the Lord's Words in Titus 2:3-5:

"Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."

Every woman is an older woman to someone else; even a new believer is an “older woman” for her unbelieving friends and family. It's our desire to equip women with both teaching and modeling of godliness so that she is better able to grow and to teach and model to those the Lord has placed in her life.

Opportunities for ladies to both learn and practice these things include:

Whatever season of life you find yourself in, you can find a friend here. We have all age groups, education and skill levels, new mom to grand-mom, crafters and non-crafters, green thumbs and brown thumbs, musicians and those who appreciate musicians.

Ladies ministry has undergone a makeover. The biggest reason being to help draw in a new generation of young women while still keeping things fresh for those already attending. The change is also trying to bring back the service aspect that use to be part of Women with a Mission. According to research the younger women feel that their time is limited by today's busier lifestyles and when they have free time they don't just want to spend the time on “themselves” but want to make a difference in other people's lives as well.

While its always been the hope that any ladies ministry impacts more than just the life of the woman attending by equipping her to serve her family and church family better, its hoped that the new format will make that happen in more personal and direct ways.

On Feb 27th we are starting a new ladies Bible study on studies in the Psalms entitled "Why Cope when you can Conquer?"   We meet on Tuesdays at 7pm.  Come and join us!
